Accountability is a Two-Way Street
Leaders tend to talk about accountability only in vague terms. They only look at the person they want to be accountable, only rarely at themselves and what their contributions have been. We argue that accountability starts with you as the leader. You can't hold other people accountable when you haven't set them up for success.
